You can get an Ed Sheeran cocktail in this Galway pub
The Ed Sheeran craze shows no sign of stopping and with that in mind, a well-known Galway pub has created a cocktail dedicated to the very man.
The Front Door came up with 'The Ed Sheeran cocktail' to coincide with the release of tickets for the Irish dates of the star's European tour, (that go on sale tomorrow FYI), and we imagine it will be quite the novelty among pub-goers.
Now, our first question on hearing is this was what the drink was made up of and we're pleased to report that it sounds absolutely yummy.
'The Ed Sheeran' is a mix of Mor Irish Gin (no surprise given its recent popularity), Absolut Citron, Triple Sec, lime juice, cranberry juice, and a dash of ginger.
It's priced at €8.50 and is available now so if you find yourself near the Upper Cross Street venue, you might want to give it a try.
It's worth remembering that if you are planning on purchasing tickets for any of the 2018 dates, Ed and his team have made a change to the rules to clamp down on those who are attempting to resell tickets.
The below statement explains the process.
"Ed and his team have a strict stance against anyone using secondary ticketing websites for profit. On this tour, any tickets that are resold will not be valid – this means no profit to touts and no one getting ripped off.
On all the stadium dates you will be required to bring your tickets, booking confirmation and credit card, plus a valid form of ID or you will not be granted entry to the show".
