We’re all acutely aware by now, that I get excessively emotional writing about dog stories so I’ll stick very much to the point on this.
This dog needs a home.
Too many dogs each year are abandoned, abused, lost and in need of help.
Thankfully there are good people in the world like the volunteers behind
Dogs in Distress (DID). Dogs in Distress uses a network of fosterers who offer short-term homes to the dogs that we rescue. They rely on our fosterers to provide a safe and caring environment for dogs.
One house of friends decided to offer a temporary home to a little dog in need named Farah.
The friends love the little doggy but can’t keep her. Instead, they’ve created a Facebook page to help attract a potential forever family for Farah.
House mate Niamh says:
“We are eager to find her a new home before Christmas. Farah is 6 months old and a ‘boingle’ - a mix between a beagle and a pointer. She is the most loving and playful dog. She loves to be brought on long walks and play with bubbles.”
“Just to give you a bit of background on how we got her: She has been fostered from a rescue called ‘Dogs in Distress’. They rescue unwanted dogs and puppies within Ireland. Dogs in Distress is run on a voluntary basis. They do not have a shelter facility in a single location. DID dogs are located in foster homes around Dublin and surrounding counties.”
“Rescue dogs can sometimes be forgotten about and it’s our aim to promote the adoption of these dogs coming up to Christmas.”
Guys. She loves bubbles. Please let's find her a home.
PS. If you have a dog please go and give it a really big hug now.
