It’s undeniably useful for those adults with foresight that can predict a situation in which they’d have lost the original key. It’s a great hack for efficient people who will make a spare and store it.
Aptly named YouTube user DaveHax, created the video, which has already amassed a million views. Other “life hacks” Dave has illustrated are drawing a circle freehand and making a paper brainteaser.
We’re somewhat inspired but the reality that we’d sit down and hack this out of a bean can is unlikely. The furthest we’re likely to get is creating the sellotape imprint.
Regardless of the practicalities of the hack, it’s actually quite satisfying to watch.
