Finding a place to live in London can be an utter nightmare. With prices continuing to soar through the leaking roof, finding somewhere affordable seems to be a feat only achievable to Kirstie and Phil.
Unless you’re interested in this very unique and suspicious offer.
Two tech developers in London are looking to share their penthouse apartment with a new roomie.
Spotted by The Metro, this ad on Spare Room requests an interesting and entrepreneurial character to fill the space.
It reads:
“We’re two lads living in a large 4000 sq ft Penthouse in Paddington. We’ve successfully built and sold two well-known technology companies and are now working on the third.”
“We'd like to find an interesting flatmate to hang out with - we don't need the money (hence the room is FREE!) but we want some good company - someone to hang out with, party with, bounce ideas around with and generally enjoy all that London has to offer.”
The house rules state that it’s a no smoking environment and while you must be welcome to sharing the space with the two existing Chihuahuas, more pets are not allowed.
The ad also advises that being entrepreneurial and into technology is a big plus but enjoying getting drunk quite often is essential.
You won’t have to do much either by the sounds of it, the £8 million gaf comes with a full staff of cleaners and cooks.
The landlord is listed only as Andrew and lists that he and the other occupant are straight. They have no preference as to whether a male or female move in and also don’t care about your occupation.
So yeah, good luck.
