Finland has an unusual one!
Whether he's Santa, Santy or Daidí na Nollag to you, the present giver has all sorts of names in Ireland alone.
So when you look at Europe as a whole, it's very interesting to see the variations of the name given to Father Christmas in different countries.
Jakub Marian shared a fascinating map which documented all the names given to Santa, and some of them are pretty funny.
In Finland, Santa is apparently a Christmas goat, while Sweden and Norway refer to him as 'Christmas Gnome'.
We're especially impressed by the fact that the map features the Gaeilge version of Santa, Daidí na Nollag as well as the Welsh and Scottish versions.
While not a whole lot of Irish people use the Irish language name, we can appreciate that the names on the map are the traditional ones, or at least we hope so considering the hilarious names in some countries.
Catalan should probably win a prize for the most unusual term used, which is 'Christmas Log' and also known as defecating log, because of the idea of placing a log in the fire and it breaking down or 'defecating'.
We'll stick to the classic Santa Claus.
