The show uses ~science~ to pair strangers and convinces them to get married on the day they meet.
Needless to say, it has pretty much always ended in disaster with none of the couples sticking together.
But our southern hemisphere counterparts have had more success with the process.
Two participants of the Australian version have welcomed their first child.
Alex Garner and Zoe Hendrix found love during the 2015 version of the show.
In an exclusive interview with Womans Day Magazine, the couple revealed that their daughter Harper-Rose was born almost two weeks ago.
“This moment has been a long time coming,” Zoe said.
“I still can’t believe she’s here.”
“Sitting here holding something so precious – that is a part of me, that is my blood – is something I’ve always dreamt of, and I will cherish it forever.”
“Zoe was made to be a mum,” says Alex.
