Not to be the fun police or anything, but the new WhatsApp update is going to come in very handy when working on the go.

The messaging app has rolled out its update for Android and iOS versions of the app, and it includes document sharing.

Although the company hasn’t yet made an official announcement, many users have seen the feature pop up after updating.

On Android, just tap the attachment icon and press the new “Document” icon that appears.

On iOS, tap the arrow within the chat and choose “Share Document” from the menu that appears.

Users are able to select documents from cloud storage services including Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive, and others, but the feature is limited to only PDF files at this time.

It’s worth noting that if the recipient hasn’t updated their WhatsApp, it won’t work.

Other nifty features included in the update are:

Groups with up to 256 members.

Video zoom (by pinching the screen)

Shared link history: track all the links you’ve sent in a conversation.

Starred messages which will be saved even if you delete a chat.

Solid colours for chat backgrounds.

Share photos or videos from Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive directly to WhatsApp.
