This teen proved he was the best friend ever with sweet 2am gesture

Megan Roantree

Such a good friend.

There are times when you might feel down and want nothing more than a hug from your best friend. While many of us might hesitate to actually ask tell someone when we need them we know that if we did ask, they would be there for us.

This is exactly what happened to Nicole Aramboles when she was feeling low and reached out to her best friend.

Nicole has recently moved to a new school where she didn’t know anyone and quickly hit it off with Jeffrey Walsh.

Last week Nicole was feeling blue when she texted her best friend about it.

Jeffrey offered to come over and give his best friend a hug which Nicole thought he was joking about.

2am

A few minutes later at 2am, Jeffrey showed up just to comfort his friend when she needed his, proving he is a very good friend indeed.

Nicole posted about the story on Twitter where it got a hugely positive reaction with 40k retweets and over 95k likes.

Nicole told Buzzfeed that he did once like her but she wasn’t ready to be his girlfriend and he now has a significant other.

“He did kind of like me over the summer … But at the time, I was going through this breakup and I wasn’t ready to be with anyone else anytime soon,” she said.

“I’ve always said this … I would date Jeffrey because a relationship with him would be awesome,” she said. “He’s a great dude.”

One Twitter user asked her if she would like to be his girlfriend if things were different.

For now, they are just good friends but who knows what might happen in the future.
