What a day.

24th June of 2016 will go down in the history books as today, the world tried to fathom the outcome of Brexit. There's been no escaping the coverage unless you've been living under a rock and no one really knows what to make of the result. Here's a quick run-through of all that went down today and to be fair, it is staggering to see all that happened in 24 hours.

How you're supposed to get your head around it is anyone's guess but the person running the German Foreign Office has the right idea. Spotted on JOE.ie, the below tweet was sent this evening and it is gold. "We are off now to an Irish pub to get decently drunk and from now on we will again work for a better #Europe!" - Absolutely brilliant.
