With Storm Barbara approaching, there have been numerous weather reports and warnings. From the Coast Guard, to Met Éireann and the Road Safety Authority.
They are all cautioning people to be careful when leaving their house, especially in areas that are going to be worst affected by the stormy weather.
Someone over on the Achill Island Coast Guard Facebook account is hoping to see the lighter side of the situation. Their weather report, which was shared by our friends over on JOE, is gas.
Our favourite line is, “Gail will have lingered with us overnight and remain with us for Christmas dinner and dessert; she will however be called a taxi and sent onward by the time the evening film starts.”
