This great market takes place on the last Sunday of every month at the Co-op on Newmarket Square, Dublin 8 and is a fabulous mix of everything from vintage clothes to second hand bikes, retro furniture and random odds and ends. There’s usually live music, tons of yummy food and a great atmosphere so this is definitely worth a trip!
Limerick Milk Market
The Milk Market is one of our favourite places in Limerick, whether looking for a lazy lunch or stocking up on some yummy goodies from local producers. The organisers are also great for arranging events such as music gigs and record fairs so keep an eye on their website.
St Nicholas’ Market, Galway
A haunt of any native Galwegian, the market behind St Nicholas’ Church is a foodie’s dream, with a variety of dishes available from tasty curries to yummy crepes, must-have falafel, Japanese sushi, and mouth-watering handmade cookies. There’s also a great range of quirky craft goods that make great pressies!
English Market, Cork
Rick Stein branded it “the best covered market in the UK and Ireland” and the English Market is a true gem of the South, bringing together a blend of large businesses, fledgling traders and a plethora of tastes under the one roof. From amazing breads to some strong coffee to ward off that Sunday morning hangover, this is one not to be missed.Explore more on these topics:
