Tinder CEO reveals what profile pictures get the best results

Tinder CEO Sean Rad has just given his advice to singletons looking for love.

The Tinder boss has been looking at the data and apparently has figured out the killer tip to getting more matches: Upload photos that better express what you like to do. Speaking at Advertising Week Europe, Sean said "The data shows this: When your photo expresses something about your interests — like a skier skiing — or something about your personality, you do better." According to Sean, singletons are likely to get more matches if they swap the bathroom selfies for more authentic photos, out and about doing things they find fun. "You do better as in you get more matches. I always tell people to be yourself," Sean said, in advice not too dissimilar to what your parent might say. "The model-y poses never work. Shots that display what you look like but the environment you live in, and your interests — they work," So it's out with the head shots and group photos, and in with snaps with pets, doing sport, travelling and more.
