Tinder for desktop has a hilarious function called ‘work mode’ that you need to try

Gas.

Ever used Tinder for desktop?

No, uh, me neither, never.

There’s nothing better than settling down after a hard day’s work, grabbing a can or two, sticking on The Crown, and swiping away to your heart’s content on your phone.

You just can’t do that on desktop, lads.

It’s just not the same.

Anyway, if you weren’t at all inclined to use Tinder for desktop, this little feature might just change your mind.

It’s called ‘work mode’ and it’s pretty hilarious.

Log yourself onto desktop Tinder there and you’ll see what we’re talking about.

At the top left-hand corner of the screen, right beside your active conversations, you’ll see a little button with a briefcase on it.

That’s ‘work mode.’

Click it and work mode will automatically bring up a document that appears to be in a Google Doc… except it’s not a Good Doc, it’s still Tinder.

… It just gives the illusion that you’re working really hard when in actual fact you’re searching for the love of your life or maybe your next ride.

Who can say for sure?

The doc itself isn’t all just random crap either – quite the opposite.

You’ve got your ‘meeting agenda’ consisting of the pace at which you will be drinking and buying nachos.

You got your line graph detailing the swipe stats for selfies without shirts and selfies with beards.

And most importantly, you’ve got your minutes of the meetings (ahem, dates).

Absolute gold.

We don’t know whether we’re more impressed that this elusive person considered somebody who swam in a literal park fountain to be a successful date, or the fact that they have such a fascination with guac and nachos.

Either way, fair play to them.

We can only assume that Tinder’s work mode exists solely for novelty reasons though, because if you get caught rapid swiping while you’re meant to be working, lashing open a document containing the run down of your last 10 dates probably isn’t going to impress your manager.

Depends who your boss is though, we suppose.
