As if we need more of a reason to tune into the Late Late Show on Friday night, it is revealed that A Song For Lily Mae is going to be performed on this week’s show.
According to the Galway Independent the brave little girl's mother Judith has announced that there will be a rendition of the tune, which has already made it to the top of the Irish music charts.

Lily Mae has neuroblastoma which affects one in 100,000 children in Ireland.
Lily Mae’s story has touched the heart of the nation this year. She suffers from a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the nervous system.
To spread awareness and raise money, some of Ireland's most famous musicians and a number of volunteers came together to record a version of Elton John’s classic, Tiny Dancer. The singing superstar is also supporting the cause.
So if you haven’t done it already, you can download the song for €1 from iTunes. And don’t forget to tune into Ryan Tubridy this Friday to catch the performance.
