Travel Thursday: five return flights under €200 for Paddy’s weekend

Fancy a getaway?

Anna O'Rourke

It’s pay day (almost)!

You’ve made it through January and February – definitely the worst part of the year – and you deserve a little getaway.

When your cash lands tomorrow, why not spend it on ticking another place off your bucket list, rather than heading straight to the Zara website?

We’ve found a couple of return flights from Dublin for Paddy’s weekend that all come in at under €200 so you might have a few bob for clothes afterwards.

Manchester from €117

The birthplace of British dance music and Corrie and home to a thriving fashion scene, you could do a lot worse than spending your long weekend in Manchester.

You can fly out on Friday 16 March and back the following Monday for €117. See more here.

Amsterdam from €116

It’s a place you’ve always been meaning to get to, so why not take advantage of a good deal and go now?

Fly early on Friday from €152 or on Saturday evening from €116.

Poznan from €135

Culture vultures will find plenty to do in this lakeside Polish city with its WW2 history, Gothic architecture and multiple museums.

Bonus: the average price of a pint is €1.50. Check out the deal here.

Fuerteventura from €174

Treat your skin to a little Vitamin D in the Canaries by spending three nights in Fuerteventura.

It’s a flight time of four hours from Dublin but if you’re craving the sun, it’ll be worth it. Details here.

Copenhagen from €186

If you’re into beer or royal families (the Danish royals are know to stroll about the city), you’ll be happy out in Copenhagen. Take a tour of Christiania too for an outing with a difference.

You can jet out on Saturday and coming back on Monday evening for as little as €186. More here.

All prices correct as of Thursday 22 February.
