5. Galway is a hub for activity
You might also like a romantic ice-skate at Galway’s Leisureland ice rink in Salthill, which is open from 18 November until 7 January. Perfect for all the family too might we add, with prices at just €15 for adults and €13 for any little ones under 12 years.
Galway’s Latin Quarter never fails to entertain. You’re only a few minutes away from oodles of attractive bars and pubs, stunning boutiques, plus fantastic food from numerous restaurants and cafés. You could make a full evening of it too by hitting the Druid or the Mick Lally Theatres for a superb show.
For any adventurers out there – Hill Walks Ireland bring groups out to explore and trek the gorgeous mountain areas of Galway and Connemara. If you have some extra dosh in your pocket, it’s well worth your while.
Go even further afar by hopping on an Aran Island Ferry just 1.2km away from the g Hotel. The rustic, remote islands are a must see, but be warned, you’ll need that warm woolly jumper plus a snug-as-a-bug coat.
