The video, which has been viewed almost three million times since it was uploaded on Sunday, shows the pranksters freaking out when their target doesn't react exactly as they might have imagined.
Yousef was still a good sport though, and allowed his friends to share the video. Commenting on YouTube, he said: "The whole world of evil spirits terrifies me no end. So yes, I did cry. Hard. But come onnn, I came home to my empty apartment under the assumption that I was ALONE.
"At the end of the day, they're my homies and all is fair in love and war. And I did start the prank war with Ahmed."
