Just when we thought Mayo fever couldn’t get any bigger, a group of fans go and write a song about their hopes for the All-Ireland final.
Dearbhaile and Bríd Roe are the creative brains behind the song which is brilliantly performed by Róisín Mc Guinness, Gearóid Clesham, Eleanor Roe and Dearbhaile Roe in the video.
Be warned (especially if you’re not a Mayo fan), this catchy tune will be running around your head for the rest of the day... “Mayo for Sam Maguire!”
Hat-tip to everyone involved in the video as well as Zara Hennigan who sent this one to us on Facebook.
