VIDEO: Man Gets Girlfriend Arrested… Then Proposes

Elaborate wedding proposals have become the norm but this latest one really takes the biscuit.

Ben Vienneau, from Saint John in Canada, conspired with local police to have his girlfriend Marcia Belyea arrested before popping the question.

Poor unsuspecting Marcia was driving her car, with Ben in the passenger seat, when she was pulled over.

It wasn’t until she was in tears in the back of the police car contemplating spending a month in jail that he put her out of her misery and got down on one knee.

And while we’re not sure we would have been so quick to forgive and say yes, he did it for more than love.

You see Ben recorded the whole thing so that he could enter a radio station contest and be in with a chance of winning $20,000, a prize we’re sure Marcia will be taking care of if they win!
