Another day, another Mayo anthem comes our way.
The men and women of the west are only mad to see Sam Maguire make his way back to Mayo after a very, very long absence, and it seems to us like everyone in the county is showing their support in song.
This catchy take on Bastille’s Pompeii is the latest Mayo tune to make it’s way to Her.ie, sent un by reader Aishling Browne.
The band go by the name Quality Street, and we have to say this is one of our favourites yet.
One thing to note though, Dublin are staying VERY quiet! We’re all ears if there are some Dublin tunes to be sent our way, but we have to wonder if they’re really all that bothered about the big game, or are they just playing their cards very close to their chests…
Hat tip: Aishling Browne sent on this one - thanks Aishling! If you’ve spotted something weird or wonderful you think should feature on Her.ie, get in touch! You’ll find us on Twitter here, on Facebook here or you can drop us a line to [email protected]!
