Live on air from the Dome at the Rose of Tralee last night Dáithi Ó'Sé undertook the ice bucket challenge to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease. The presenter had been called to action by the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, and his mother-in-law.
One perk of completing the challenge is the opportunity to nominate three others to follow suit. So, Dáithi challenged three former Rose of Tralee hosts; Marty Whelan, Ray D'Arcy and Ryan Tubridy.
Not one to shy from a challenge, Tubridy stepped up to the plate this morning.

Then, this afternoon, Marty showed he was game too and his moustache weathered the drenching like only Marty's moustache could.
