Polar bears at San Diego Zoo had the time of their lives at the weekend when 26 tonnes of cold snow was poured into their exhibit.
The surprise snow was made possible by donations to the animal care wish list on the San Diego Zoo website.

Susan Purtell, a senior keeper at San Diego Zoo said: “This was a special day for the polar bears, and I could tell they really loved it".
"It was great seeing them roll around in the snow, showcasing their natural behaviors".
