The legend that is Samuel L Jackson has teamed up with Funny or Die to highlight a rather interesting initiative.
In this funny video, the actor is shining light on Common Sense Media, non-profit organization that is “dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology.”
It's very clever, have a look:
The organisation is geared towards parents who may be concerned about what movies their children are watching.
The website rates movies and ranks them in order for which age group they’re most appropriate for.
Additionally the team behind Common Sense Media also looks at apps, video games, and websites, and indicate “the learning potential of a title in terms of whether it's BEST, VERY GOOD, GOOD, or FAIR for learning -- or not for learning.”
So remember parents: “If Sam Jackson is in a movie, your kid probably shouldn’t watch it.”
