WATCH: Berlin Zoo’s baby panda twins are three months old and yeah, still too cute tbh

Oh, help.

A few months back, Berlin Zoo’s Meng Meng became a mother to two beautiful baby panda twins.

The little lads were adorable, as baby pandas are wont to be, and they marked a very special occasion indeed.

This was the first time that one of the endangered giant pandas had given birth in Germany – and although they are due to return to their native China at some point, Berlin Zoo has been applauding their existence and general cuteness for quite some time now.

And now, the zoo has shared a video of the twins’ progress since their birth – and yes, they are just as cute as they were three months ago.

“Probably the most beautiful pictures of the week,” they said on Facebook, posting a video of the two pandas sleeping, rolling around, and being generally adorable.

The panda cubs were born to Meng Meng and Jiao Qing on August 31 of this year, doubling Germany’s panda population in one go.

Last month, Berlin Zoo announced that the pandas were being moved from their incubator to a more spacious pen, a big moment for the twins.

“At the moment, our two young pandas weigh 15 times more than they did at birth,” Zoo and Tierpark director Dr Andreas Knieriem said at the time.

“Of course, we are keeping our fingers crossed that they will continue to develop this well and will soon outgrow their new accommodation.”

The baby pandas weighed 186 and 136 grams at birth.

Their father will not be involved in their rearing, as is usual for giant pandas.
