As the General Election 2016 begins in earnest, we can expect to see candidates pulling out all the stops in order to ensure that they secure your vote.
From kissing babies to canvassing outside supermarkets, they will try anything to convince us they are the right person for the job.
Sometimes, though, you can find some truly strange campaign efforts, and this is a prime example. Fine Gael TD for Kildare South, Martin Heydon, has created this Back To The Future themed campaign video starring himself as Marty McFly, touring around the constituency in a DeLorean talking about why he should be re-elected.
It's pretty spot on in terms of costumes, and the special effects are good, but it remains to be seen whether this strategy will actually see him re-elected on February 26th.
