It turns out we’re a lot nosier than we think we are… or at least we say we are.
Have you ever sneaked onto a stranger’s property for a quick peep through the windows?
A recent survey’s results show that one in five people admit to creeping onto private property, just for a quick snoop through their windows.
Another 80 per cent admitted to being so fascinated by other people’s homes that they scrutinise the photos in the windows of estate agents even though they are not moving house.
We feel less guilty now, standing at the window for half an hour looking at the new houses up for sale in your area doesn’t seem as odd now that we know others definitely do it too.
The survey, carried out by the TV channel Home, also found that 20 per cent of us head out for the day and view houses just to be nosey, pretending we have the intentions to move in.

The study was carried out in the USA.
