Weekend DIY: Grow your own food with this easy pallet herb garden
So many of us have gotten into gardening or tending to our plants in a whole new way during this past year.
And what could be more satisfying than growing your very own food in your garden – or even on a small city balcony?
Enter this easy DIY most of us can manage to finish in one weekend – a reclaimed pallet herb garden.
I have seen the idea pop up a few times on my Pinterest boards, and honestly, how amazing does this look – being able to just wander out into your own decking or balcony and grab a handful of herbs or spices for whatever it is you are cooking up in the kitchen.
Having done some research, here is an easy instruction I can across on a DIY blog:
All you need is:
- Regular wood pallet
- Extra small pieces of wood (for support floors)
- Landscaping fabric (enough to line the beds)
- White paint
- Small chalkboard signs and/or tongue depressors
- Any herb your heart desires!!
You will find the full instructions on how to make it by popping over to the blog Therapeutic Miles.
