These are a few of our favourite things… this week at least. ___________________________________ Red skies at morning... The skies of Dublin were ablaze this week and Úna managed to capture a snap of the pink and purple sky on her walk into work. Time for Tree Rebecca's week was made when her parents surprised her with a miniature Christmas tree for her apartment. It even has baubles and tinsel. She is also hoping that she can plant it and grow it into a huge tree for next year (don't tell her but the rest of us aren't too hopeful). mini xmas tree

The Her.ie office received an early Christmas present this week from the folks at LowLow. A variety of Snack Packs were delivered into office and there is enough now to do us well into 2014, leaving Grace very impressed. Each pack contains multigrain toast and mature cheese slices, with a choice of caramelised onion chutney, red pepper and onion chutney or sweet tomato relish. They're amazing.

Nailed It Pretty nails are a must for the festive season. When our lovely editor Michelle shared these goregous Ciaté nail polishes with the team last week, Cathy was very happy indeed. The range includes everything from soft pastels to full-on glitter, ideal for the Christmas period.

Map of Slang Last week, Sue featured a map on the site that was made by Susan Brambell, a map she absolutely loved as it had all of the slang terms from around the country on it. Susan was kind enough to send one of the maps into the office. Of course, Sue is delighted! map

Christmas in Krakow Michelle spent the early part of this week in Poland after being whisked away for a lovely birthday treat. Ever since, she's been singing the praises of the Christmas markets, the funky bars, the amazing restaurants and the lovely, friendly people. Christmas shopping! This week Úna and her other half went Christmas shopping and instead of picking up decorations they ended up scooping up eight games for the PS3. Úna’s already over nine hours into Final Fantasy XIII and is determined to finish it before the year’s out. 1497614_679596218729560_800984432_n

Christmas Ham Another charm was added to Rebecca's Thomas Sabo collection this week but it wasn't just any charm, it was a festive pig charm which she is looking forward to wearing on her bracelet (or necklace) on Christmas Day.

Boxes of Beauty Cathy is obsessed with all things pretty so these storage boxes from the Carolyn Donnelly line at Dunnes caught her eye at the weekend. She snapped these up pretty quickly but there is so much to choose from. Highlights include the pink heart water hot water bottle, gilt edged photo frames oh and let's not forget the pastel duvet covers. I Love Lamp This week, Sue went out to meet the guys from Anchorman 2 when they came to Dublin to promote the film. She was lucky to catch up with Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner. Steve even told her he loved lamp.
