The grand finale… and we’re counting down the hours…
Tonight’s Love/Hate finale is set to be the most brutal yet, as the rival gangs go to war.
RTÉ are expecting around one million people are expected to tune in for the eagerly-anticipated final episode in the third series of the crime drama.
And show sources have revealed how there are “plenty of shocks” in store for the audience.
Tonight’s episode features thug Dano and his gang tooled up with an armoury of smuggled AK47s.
After learning the truth about what happened to his dad Git, the IRA-affiliated gangster sets about getting revenge.
Elsewhere, Darren is in attack mode as he leaps from a car armed with a gun.
A source said: “It’s tension-filled, people will be on the edge of their seats. There is a lot of twists and turns.”
The series is one of the most popular ever shown on RTE — pulling around 800,000 viewers per episode.
RTÉ say the fourth series is already under “active development”.
