When Donna Lees found out her husband of 23 years was cheating with a part-time lecturer she decided to send an email expressing how she felt.
But after not receiving a reply from Claire Russell, the law lecturer with whom her other half Sean was having an affair, Donna sent the message to anyone at the university who shared her surname.
She claimed that she didn’t know Miss Russell’s email so had to send it to anyone who shared her second name including staff and students.
As a result details of the alleged fling have spread around Bath University like wildfire according to the Daily Mail Online.
In the email Donna apparently wrote: “Clearly you are equally as dishonest as my husband, given he has admitted today that he has been sleeping with you since September.”
Donna found out her husband was having an affair.
She continued: “Perhaps you just like secretly sc**wing other people’s husbands?, in between your demanding work and family schedule.
“Well done. I hope your conscience copes, although given it appears to match your morals it probably will.”
Speaking about the ordeal, Miss Russell said: “I do not know Donna Lees and have never met her. I understand from many who do know her, and from her actions so far, that she is someone who is unbalanced, and thrives on confrontation and drama.”
Donna and her husband Sean are said to have separated. He was reportedly not willing to comment on the matter.
