Good luck sleeping after seeing the size of this spider in a Dublin home

They're definitely bigger year by year...

Sightings of spiders are something that you normally associate with Australia or Thailand etc, but there seems to be many more of these large blighters making their home on the Emerald Isle. Arachnophobia is very real amongst a large proportion of the population and symptoms of the phobia include profuse sweating, irritability and loss of bladder control. So we can understand why Catriona Loftus wasn't very comfortable when this wee monster found its way into her home. She spotted this eight-legged fiend lurking in her house on Thursday evening, and was struck by the size of the bloody thing.
