WOW Air launch American route from Dublin and Cork

Cathy Donohue

If you’re on the lookout for a new holiday destination, you might be interested in WOW Air’s latest route.

The Icelandic airline is to operate flights to Pittsburgh from Dublin and Cork, via Reykjavik Iceland, four days a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, starting June 16th.

A one-way flight will cost you €159.99 and seeing as Pittsburgh has a number of cool attractions, we’re totally planning a visit.

It has an amazing skyline for one with The New York Times previously desciribing it as the “the only city with an entrance”.

The Andy Warhol museum, the Point State Park and the stunning views from the summit of Mount Washington are just some of the reasons to visit.

However, if you have another stateside destination in mind, WOW Air offers budget flights to a number of other American cities including New York, Boston, Washington DC, Toronto, Montreal, Miami, LA and San Francisco, with flights to Chicago starting this summer too.

The only problem is where to go first…

This city never disappoints! #myhome #pittsburgh #duquesneincline #cityview #mountwashington #photography #art
