2. Look out for offers
In most shops they have offers on wrapping paper and ribbons such as 3 for 2 or mix and match so get your budget butt moving and buy.
3. Use rolls instead of sheets
It doesn’t matter what you are looking for, buying in bulk is key to cutting costs. Besides, as nice as the sheets of luxury paper are, it’ll all be going into the bin at the end of the day (unless you open your presents REALLY carefully and recycle the paper next year... we're joking... totally not joking).
4. Brown paper packages tied up with string
It’s quirky and it's classic. Brown paper and string is the new bling... hey, if it's good enough for Julie Andrews, it's good enough for us!

5. Reuse the bags and ribbons you receive
Have a giant pile of gift bags and random ribbons in your drawers? Well now it’s time to recycle them. (Just make sure you don’t give it back to the person who gave it to you.)
6. Make your own labels
All you need is some card (you could use old Christmas cards) and plenty of imagination. Then again, you could just write the person’s name on the paper with a glitter pen.
7. Make it fun
The key is to have fun and not worry too much about what it looks like (speaking from experience here). You could even make it a family activity and rally the troops for help.
