X Factor Star Lands Job on Television Show Daybreak

He might have driven Gary Barlow up the walls but former X Factor contestant Rylan Clark is doing something right as he has already landed his first job post-talent-show.

The controversial singer has bagged himself a presenting job on morning show Daybreak alongside Lorraine Kelly and co.

Rylan, who has become known for his flamboyant style and bubbly personality, is temporarily taking over from Richard Arnold to deliver all the latest television and showbiz gossip.

He certainly moves quickly: Rylan only left the X Factor last weekend.

Speaking about it, the 23-year-old from Essex said: “I can’t believe it! I only left X Factor a week ago and now I’m joining Lorraine and Aled on the Daybreak sofa.

“I’m a massive fan of the show and it’s going to be so much fun… I’m looking forward to keeping Richard’s seat warm while he’s swanning off on holiday, but I won’t be asking for any dancing tips just yet.”

Richard Arnold is heading off on holiday for a while.

According to reports Richard Arnold, who is taking a break having just left Strictly Come Dancing, wished Rylan all the best in the role.
