According to reports today X Factor hopeful Christopher Maloney is spending thousands of pounds voting for himself.
The 39-year-old singer has allegedly been spotted by a number of the crew phoning and texting into the show each weekend.
One told the Daily Mirror: “I’ve seen him dialling and redialling his own number over and over again. It’s sad really but he wants it that much that he is spending a fortune.”

Christopher wowed the judging panel at his first audition despite his nerves.
This will be the last thing the Liverpudlian needs after it was suggested that he was pretending to be nervous and had hidden the fact that he had sung in front of an audience before when he worked on a cruise ship.
Not that he’s getting any respite on the stage either! Both Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos have criticised his performances in recent weeks and branded him old-fashioned.

He hugs Kye Sone as it is revealed he has made it through to next week.
Newly-eliminated Kye Sones, who was in Gary Barlow’s group with Christopher, is also said to have gotten a dig in.
The newspaper reports that the chimney sweep supports the voting claims: “God knows why he is still there. He must have a very expensive phone bill.”
He also insinuated that Christopher was two-faced: “There are two different versions of Chris, one when the cameras are there and one when they’re not here.”
