We would be lost without our besties: they have our backs in times of trouble, they always say the right thing and you know you can tell them anything.
However, as close as best friends are, there are some things best kept private and tampons fall into that category.
However, the people behind ‘Friends Forever Tampon’ think differently and they’ve come up with a tampon you can share with your friend (and yes, we’re aware of how disgusting that sounds).
The Cut has reported that the ‘Friends Forever Tampon’ will “”bring you extremely close to your best friend for up to eight hours at a time”.
If you’re wondering how this works (and we warn you, it’s very weird), there are two tampons attached to one string so that you and your bestie can bond, during that time of the month.
Interestingly, creator Kat Thek says that if you and your bestie aren’t having your periods at the same time, you’re “probably not actually best friends. Maybe take a road trip and try again next month”.
Way harsh.
Oh and if you’re not a tampon user, fret not as maxi-pads are on the way to “make it easy to get into the flow”.
We’d rather not think too much about that one works…
