This bride and groom had a very strange request for their wedding guests

Is she being a total bridezilla?

You’ll get them from time to time.

Whether it’s to wear a certain colour or bring a certain present, some brides and grooms demand a few things off their wedding guests.

But this is certainly a new one.

A woman has wrote on a forum on Mumsnet that she was invited to one of her friend’s wedding, where she was requested to take hay fever medication before attending the ceremony.

Why? So nobody would sneeze when they said ‘I do’.

The woman wanted the opinions of other women on the strange request, asking if it was an unusual one.

She wrote: “‘Please remember to take some piriton before arriving. The pollen count will be high and the last thing I want is sneezing during the ceremony.’ Paraphrased but similar tone.”

“I can’t work out if it’s unreasonable to ask your guests to medicate themselves so they don’t sniffle.”

Later on in the comments section, the women revealed that the bride laid out an “A4’s worth of extra information” that included “bullet points.”

She continued: “What is it about weddings that turn people into control freaks?! I love her but she’s being a nutter.”

Many women sympathised with the writer, and joked that the bride and groom must have shares in the medication company.

“Do they have shares in that particular brand of antihistamine? If I took it, I would fall asleep and the sound of my snoring is worse than a bit of sniffling and sneezing,” one wrote.

While another said: “I have confused myself as I find this sensible but also hilarious. Who would actually say that on their invite?”

Well ladies, what do you all think? Is the bride being totally unreasonable? Or is it fair enough since it’s a summertime wedding?
