A whopping 61 per cent of male drivers break the speed limit at least once a week, while across all ages groups, 38 per cent of people admitted to speeding at least once a week.
Meanwhile, it was discovered that 61 per cent of female motorists aged between 25 and 34 have suffered from road rage at some point, compared to one in three males.
Other things that annoyed drivers included bad parking (29 per cent) and traffic jams (26 per cent).
The research was carried out on 427 drivers aged 18 to 64 ahead of the launch of AIG’s new XLNTdriver app, which aims to reward safe driving behaviour.Explore more on these topics:
