Oh, wonderful.
We were all pretty delighted with ourselves last weekend when the sun was shining. Off we flocked to the barge and parks all around Ireland to have some cans and sit in the heat.
This weekend however, is a completely different story.
According to Met Éireann, it’s pretty much rain, rain and more rain for the weekend.
“Rain across Munster and south-Leinster will gradually break up into more showery conditions this morning as brighter weather extends from the north of the country,” writes Met.ie.

“Showers this afternoon and evening will be heavy but well scattered with good sunshine when dry. Cool with highs of 9 to 12 degrees in moderate northeast breezes.”
And for tomorrow? There will be scattered heavy showers starting in the afternoon, with temperatures going to 9-13 degrees.
“Cold on Saturday night. The showers will mostly die out on Saturday night and many places will then be dry and clear. Lows of zero to plus 3 C., with sharp grass frost and possibly some mist and shallow fog around dawn.”
Cloudy over Munster&much of Leinster at first today with some rain in places, but this giving way to scattered showers by afternoon. Sunday will be much the same, with “heavy showers” still hitting the country throughout the day, and temps dropping to 0-2 degrees at night.
Just delightful, huh?
