Would you consider yourself a Hannah, a Marnie, a Shoshanna or a Jessa?
If you know what that means, then you’re obviously one of the many worldwide fans of hit HBO show ‘GIRLS’.
Boasting a cult following and four Emmy nominations after only one season, (along with Chris O’Dowd in a guest star role – nice), ‘Girls’ is one of our favourite TV picks of 2012.
Now Lena Dunham and co are branding out, and into the beauty business.
When the second season premieres in the US in January, a nail polish collaboration with Deborah Lippmann will hit the shelves too.
The collection is made up of four colours, one modeled on each of the four main characters and all of them covetable.
There’s Hannah – in ‘Hapless Hunter Green’, Marnie in ‘Prim and Proper Pink’, Shoshanna in ‘Virtuous Vivid Violet’ and Jessa in ‘Bohemian Burgundy’.
The collection is billed on Lippmann’s website as “Independent. Feminine. Playful. Sexy.”
Creator and star Lena is quoted as saying: “Deborah Lippmann's colors are irreverent and classy and I've always coveted them (and stolen them from my mother), so who better to embody the GIRLS' spirit in polish form… I've been wearing Hannah like it's going out of style."
We're with Lena, Hannah is definitely our pick of the bunch, but we wouldn't say no to a gift of Shoshanna either...
