Although they launched Stateside in 2004, it's taken nine years for the Clarisonic cleansing brush to reach Irish shores in an official capacity!
Having been acquired by L'Oréal last year, the high-tech device has been loved by celebs around the globe for years and outspoken advocates include Oprah Winfrey (if it's good enough for Oprah...), Courtney Cox and Demi Moore and thankfully, it's now being stocked in Brown Thomas with Debenhams getting in on the act later this year.

So, is Clarisonic really worth the €119 it costs for the most basic travel model? While we've yet to try one, we are intrigued by its promise to scrub away blackheads and any other nasties lurking in our pores and who doesn't love that squeaky clean feeling that only scrubbing your skin within an inch of its life can produce.

And at least this controlled advice will prevent you from doing any real damage if you're a bit over-zealous with a facecloth from time to time!
