In what is possibly some of the best news in the lead up to the holiday season, there were two big winners in tonight’s Lotto draw.
The overall top prize was worth €2 million, while the Lotto Plus 1 had a €1 million jackpot and the Lotto Plus 2 had a €250,000 prize.
Two players – one in the main draw, and one in the Lotto Plus 1 draw – have every reason to celebrate this week, as their numbers came up in the draw.
The winning numbers in the main draw were 1, 19, 20, 39, 31, 44 and the bonus of 11.
While nobody walked away with the top prize, someone did get the March 5 + Bonus – which netted them €516,688.
Meanwhile, the lucky digits for the Lotto Plus 1 players are 4, 7, 8, 12, 20, 43 and the bonus of 41.
One lucky player won the top prize worth €1 million – and according to the National Lottery, the ticket was sold online.
The numbers drawn in the Lotto Plus 2 – which had a top prize of €250,000 – were: 9, 13, 19, 33, 34, 39 and 27. However, nobody managed to scoop the top prize.
The news comes as one person won the Lotto jackpot – worth €6,589,886 – on Saturday evening.
The winning numbers from the draw were 9, 15, 17, 24, 41, 43 and 37.
And it looks like there’s a whole ‘lotto luck for players if the buy their tickets online – as the winning ticket in the draw on December 8 was purchased online, too.
