Congratulations are in order this morning for Katie Piper who has announced she is pregnant.
The philanthropist shared the news with fans on her Instagram, saying:
“I’m so excited to tell you all next Father’s Day my husband will be celebrating with two children.”
This is baby number two for Katie and her husband, Richard, who are already parents to three-year-old, Belle.
Katie has previously spoken about her fears that she would not be able to conceive her second child naturally, telling The Mirror:
“I got pregnant with Belle really easily, but now I’ve got a problem with my oesophagus.
“There aren’t enough vitamins to help me make a baby. That is why I have become so skinny.”
And it seems Katie is also considering adoption in the future.
In an interview with OK magazine, the 33-year-old said she’s always thought about it.
“I spoke about adoption before I met and married Richard. It still really interests me and I’d never say never.”
