Saoirse-Monica Jackson, best known for playing the iconic Erin Quinn in Derry Girls, has tied the knot with Scottish DJ Hector Barbour (Denis Sulta) in a dreamy three-day wedding held at Dromquinna Manor in County Kerry.
The lavish ceremony seamlessly united Irish and Scottish traditions as heartfelt cultural tributes took centre stage.
The three-day wedding celebrations started with a chilled drinks reception and pizza night, followed the next morning by a pyjama-themed get-together for the bridal party.
During the main ceremony, Saoirse walked down the aisle alongside her father to a moving cover of, you guessed it, Dreams by the Cranberries.
Saoirse-Monica looked breathtaking in a bespoke Annie Ibiza bridal gown, featuring a mini skirt with a long train, a sculpted corset, and puffed sleeves.
The Derry Girls actress made sure to add some Gaelic touches to her wedding dress with Celtic brooches inspired by her mother. She also paid tribute to Scotland and her mother-in-law as her corset was reversible, revealing a stunning tartan pattern.
Her bridesmaids wore emerald green Rat & Boa dresses matched with custom jewellery by Eily O’Connell.
To true Scottish tradition, Hector donned a Hebridean MacKenzie tartan kilt, Montrose-style doublet, along with family heirlooms including a sporran and brooch belonging to his father.
Around 160 guests attended the festivities.
Saoirse-Monica first shared news of her engagement in early 2024, followed by a hen party in Switzerland earlier this year.
