Beth Chapman has passed away aged 51.

The reality star, best known for appearing in Dog the Bounty Hunter alongside her husband Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman, lost her battle with cancer this morning, a spokesperson for her family confirmed.

She died in hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii surrounded by her loved ones.

Duane shared the news on Twitter, saying his wife had “hiked the stairway to heaven.”

It was announced in September 2017 that Beth had been diagnosed with stage two throat cancer.

She was later declared cancer-free but the disease returned last year.

She vowed to beat it, saying in January; “I’m a fighter, I’m a strong fighter — big-time survivor — and I’m gonna fight this as vigorously as it’s fighting me.”

But her condition worsened over the past few months and Beth was recently placed in an induced coma.

Just yesterday, Duane shared a photo of his wife’s hand in the hospital bed sporting a fresh manicure.

Beth and Duane enthralled viewers with their fugitive-hunting antics, with their series running from 2004 to 2012.

Together the couple had 12 children.
