Donald Trump Junior’s wife Vanessa has been taken to hospital after she opened an envelope containing ‘ a white powder’.
According to reports, Vanessa opened the envelope at the couple’s home at around 10 am (New York time).
The substance was tested at the scene and was later deemed to be non-hazardous but Vanessa was taken to hospital as a precaution.
New York Cuty police said two other people who were also exposed to the powder were taken to hospital alongside Vanessa.
According to Fox News, the Secret Service released the below statement after the incident.
“The Secret Service and our law enforcement partners in New York City are investigating a suspicious package addressed to one of our protectees received today in New York, New York. This is an active investigation and we cannot comment any further.”
Donald is the eldest son of Donald Trump and his ex-wife Ivana.
He has been married to Vanessa for almost thirteen years and they have five children.
