The Duchess of Cambridge, who is pregnant with her second child, will not travel to Malta to represent Queen Elizabeth this weekend on the advice of doctors.

According to BBC News, Kensington Palace has announced that the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, will now go to Malta in his wife’s place.

Kate was forced to miss an event at Oxford University recently and the opening game ceremony of the Invictus Games in London.

She is known to suffer from acute morning sickness and was due to travel to Malta this Saturday. The Duchess also suffered from the same condition while she was pregnant with Prince George.
