The Duchess of Cambridge, who is pregnant with her second child, will not travel to Malta to represent Queen Elizabeth this weekend on the advice of doctors.
Kate Middleton is reportedly suffering from the effects of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which has already seen her cancel two other royal engagements.
According to BBC News, Kensington Palace has announced that the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, will now go to Malta in his wife’s place.
Kate and William are pictured with Prince George shortly after his birth.
Kate was forced to miss an event at Oxford University recently and the opening game ceremony of the Invictus Games in London.
She is known to suffer from acute morning sickness and was due to travel to Malta this Saturday. The Duchess also suffered from the same condition while she was pregnant with Prince George.
