End Of An Era As Galway Legend Madam Bridget Passes Away

There was sad news for Galwegians this week with confirmation that local legend Madam Bridget has passed away. The fortune teller has been a fixture in Galway City for decades, plying her trade at a small post outside Supermac's in Eyre Square. According to the Galway Advertiser, she passed away last weekend and the news has sparked a huge response online, with many paying tribute to one of the city's true characters.
