The former girl group member made the claims on Twitter.
Former Pussycat Dolls member Kaya Jones has posted claims on social media that the girl group was a part of a “prostitution ring”.
The 33-year-old shared the information on Twitter in a string of posts to her near 165,000 followers, saying:
“My truth. I wasn’t in a girl group, I was in a prostitution ring.
“Oh and we happened to sing and be famous.
“While everyone who owned us made the money.”

To be apart of the team you must be a team player.Meaning sleep with whoever they say.If you dont they have nothing on you to leverage
— KAYA (@KayaJones) October 13, 2017
Yes I said leverage. Meaning after they turn you out or get you hooked on drugs they use it against you.Correct.Victimizing the victim again

Why don’t we report it? Because we are all abused! I personally have been warned if I tell I will … you know end up dead or no more career

Kaya went on to call out the “den mother” of the group and claimed that she had a part to play in the death of another girl group member.
“I want the den mother from hell to confess why another one of her girl group girls committed suicide.
“Tell the public how you mentally broke us.”

While the singer did not mention any names, followers are speculating that she is referring to G.R.L. singer Simone Battle who sadly died by suicide in 2014 at the age of 25.
Kaya was discovered by R. Kelly and joined the girl group in 2003. She quit the group in 2005 and said it was because it was no longer fun.
However, now Kaya says it was because of other reasons.
“How bad was it? People ask – bad enough that I walked away from my dreams, my bandmates and a 13 million dollar record deal.
“We knew we were going to be number one.”

Kaya also says that she tried to report the claims numerous times only to be ignored.
“In 2004, I told Hollywood Execs. In 2005 I told the press. In 2011, I spoke up again,” she revealed.
I told press in Hollywood about my abuse & they did nothing. I’m still dealing with Vegas. Talk about back to back. Vegas&Hollywood man ?

As of yet, nobody from the team behind the Pussycat Dolls has commented on the claims.
