Actor Kan Bonfils has died after collapsing during rehearsals in London.
The English star, who appeared as a Jedi in the Star Wars movies, was working on a production of Dante's Inferno at the The Rag Factory when he suddenly collapsed earlier today.
According to the Evening Standard, paramedics rushed to the scene but Bonfils tragically passed away, with director Chris Hislop described the actor's death as a "tragedy".
"It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kan Bonfils. During rehearsals for an upcoming performance, he collapsed and was unable to be resuscitated. His sudden loss is a tragedy, and he will be sorely missed."
Bonfils also starred in James Bond films Skyfall and Tomorrow Never Dies, as well as several West End stage productions.
